La Center Big Band Dance

THE LA CENTER BAND PROGRAM presents its first annual BIG BAND DANCE!

PERFORMERS include the WOODLAND HS JAZZ BAND, the LA CENTER HS JAZZ BAND, and the incredible VANPORT JAZZ ENSEMBLE, made up of some of the finest jazz musicians from around the Vancouver and Portland area.

DOORS OPEN at 5:50 pm and the first band goes on at 7pm, with the event ending at 10pm.

FREE SWING DANCE LESSONS (Beginner level): Given from 6:00-7pm by Julieann and Joseph Platt from Ballroom Dance With Us. Learn more about them at: Ballrooomdancewithus.com
There will also be a couple mini-lessons throughout the evening.

ADMISSION IS FREE but contributions to support the La Center HS Band Program will be accepted through the La Center Music Association at the door upon arrival.

TICKETS are required through this website. They are FREE but only a limited number of tickets will be given out for this event, so you are encouraged to reserve them NOW!

DESSERTS will be available for purchase from Sadie and Josie's Bakery who have graciously donated them. All proceeds from sales will go to support the La Center Band Program

This event is limited to ages 14 and up, excluding performers in the La Center Jazz Band.
